PALLIATIVE CARE

Our palliative care services are here for individuals with complex medical needs and those living with a life-limiting illness. We are focused on promoting quality of life and high standards to ensure residents with progressive illnesses are comfortable, engaged, and supported every step of the way.

Kindness and respect form the beating heart of all the care services across our homes in Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the North West.

To best support our residents, we create personalised care plans which are regularly updated to take into consideration individual preferences and requirements. We also work closely with other medical professionals involved in residents’ care to ensure their needs are met and they are well supported, comfortable and that their dignity is always preserved.

Personalised Palliative Care

Our friendly, experienced, and qualified care teams are on hand to deliver palliative care in all our care homes. They are available around the clock and work together with other health professionals to deliver the best care in pleasant surroundings.

Across our care homes, palliative care from our team includes:

  • Access to 24-hour nursing care from registered nurses
  • Pleasant, comfortable accommodation
  • Regular assessments by qualified nurses
  • Medication support and management
  • Physical assistance and personal care
  • Social and emotional support
  • Delicious, well-balanced meals

Care Centred Around You

Every individual we care for deserves the best support that preserves dignity and always promotes respect.

We understand that everyone is different, including their care requirements and preferences. To ensure individual needs, wishes and beliefs are always upheld, our team delivers palliative care in line with personalised care plans which are regularly updated and reassessed.

We strive to meet the emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of every resident under our care. Individual care plans address the management of physical symptoms and pain in line with the residents’ preferences, as well as other important aspects of day-to-day life such as companionship, nutrition, exercise, and mental stimulation.
