RESIDENTIAL CARE

Personalisation is a key component at Rhiwlas Care Home. This is why we are pleased to inform you that we run a person centred residential care service. Sometimes called assisted living, this serviced can apply to potential residents aged 65 and over. The daily activities can include bathing, medication, cooking, cleaning, general mobility as well as many other types of interpersonal forms of care. All of our team are fully trained and they are very approachable.

DEMENTIA CARE

We understand that residents suffering with dementia might have complex needs. This is why our personalised care plans take huge steps to understanding each and every one of our residents, so we can deliver care in line with their own unique and special requirements. At Rhiwlas we support a happy, independent and dignified lifestyle. That is why we ensure our residents also feel independent and dignified.

DAY CARE

For the more casual of our residents; our day care service is unbeatable. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a friendly and homely atmosphere. Day visitors can develop new friendships as well as potentially re-establish old ones in a relaxing but also active and engaging experience. We are sure you can make this Welsh care home your new home from home.

RESPITE CARE

Respite care offers even the most dedicated carer amongst us some well deserved, and most defiantly earned, time off. Rest and recuperation is what you can expect from our respite service. You can enjoy all of this whilst being safe in the knowledge that your loved ones are receive extremely high levels of personalised and attentive care.

Dining is often citied as one of the most pleasurable parts of our residents day here at Rhiwlas. Offering an incredible amount of diverse, healthy and nutritional plates; we are sure one of our experienced chefs will be able to cook something that will give your taste buds a much needed tingle. ACTIVITIES

Our beautiful care home offers a multitude of health and general wellbeing activities. We ensure all of our residents feel comfortable and at home when participating in our group activities. This helps our residents feel relaxed enabling them to take more overall enjoyment from the activity in question as well as enhancing the experience for everyone else too.

Our activities teamhost a range of fun and interesting activities designed to engaged and entertain all of our residents. These include regular trips to local landmarks, themed evening parties, live entertainment and arts and crafts. We work alongside our residents to ensure that we offer them activities tailored to their wants, likes and unique personal interests.
