Young at Heart Gentle Exercise at Hilton House – 5th Sept

The fitness experts at ASM Sports will be encouraging our residents to stay active with their “Young at Heart Gentle Exercise” programme on Wednesday 5th September at 2pm. It is important to stay fit at any age and as we get older retaining muscle strength and movement helps to prevent falls. A variety of exercises, including those which can be done while sitting means that these sessions have something for everyone. Having fun with games and exercises which require cooperation and teamwork fosters a sense of community while providing a valuable gentle workout for those living at Hilton House.

Keeping Fit and Having Fun at Our Care Home

Led by qualified and experienced coaching staff and assistants, ASM Sports arrive with all the equipment and enthusiasm needed for the session. Their friendly and encouraging approach gets everyone in the mood to take part. Exercise benefits everyone with the release of endorphins creating a “feel good factor” and the improved blood flow can have a positive effect on the symptoms of dementia too. This is all part of providing a complete and varied programme within our residential care homes in Stoke on Trent.
