World Alzheimer’s Day and Dementia Care
World Alzheimer’s Day is an important date in the calendar for anyone with the disease or associated with dementia care. The focus and climax of World Alzheimer’s Month, it is a day which we at Lovett Care champion in the ongoing quest to support those who live with Alzheimer’s or dementia, their families and friends, and the pursuit of educating and raising awareness.
One of the biggest challenges faced today, with nearly 50 million people living with dementia worldwide. The Alzheimer’s Society states that 70 per cent of people in care homes have dementia or severe memory problems.
