Each year we like to show our dedicated team members our appreciation by entering them into an Appreciation Lottery. This year some wonderful prizes were donated to us, to help us show our gratitude for everyone’s hard work throughout this difficult period and the ongoing pandemic.
Here at Lovett Care, we appreciate how hard it can be to always be so positive and to support everyone around you, as the teams across our homes do so well. So this year we wanted to ensure that we gave back to all those who have played a key part in caring for our residents during this turbulent and difficult time.

Our Teams

Each team member across our eight care homes works exceptionally hard to ensure the comfort and safety of every one of our residents. Without their dedication, our residents would doubtlessly have felt a bigger impact from the events of the last two years. For that, we want to thank the entire Lovett Care team.

The Draw

To ensure that all those who were eligible had an equal opportunity to win in a prize in our lottery, we entered all names into the draw to be selected blindly. This allowed for a fair selection process across the board; including care teams, activities teams, home managers, and everyone in between! All they had to do to be eligible was reliably work throughout the pandemic!

This Year’s Prizes

This year our Appreciation Lottery has seen some incredible prizes, helping us to show our team members how much their hard work means to us.

The prizes included:

• A week’s all-inclusive for two at the Lagrotta Verde in Corfu (won by a dedicated Unit Manager at one of our English homes)
• A weekend away for two at the Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa (won by an Administrator at one of our Welsh homes, and a Maintenance Operative from our Manchester home)
• £250 worth of gift vouchers, which we are sure will be welcome so close to Christmas, (received by a Senior Care Assistant at one of our Staffordshire homes)
• £150 worth of vouchers (won by a Care Assistant at one of our Welsh homes)

In striving to show our gratitude and appreciation of Lovett’s excellent team members, earlier this year we also committed to pay our team at least the Real Living Wage. We are very proud of our team and the superb job they do, particularly in these last few extremely challenging years.
