Our 24 hour a day services include residential care for those seeking assistance with personal care and daily activities, personalised dementia care focused on helping individuals live well with dementia, and respite care for those needing a short-term stay to relax or recuperate after a hospital visit.
Residential Care
For individuals looking for help with personal care, simple support with every day activities or maybe just some company. We will ensure that you can enjoy all our facilities with the comfort of knowing there is someone on hand to provide support when needed.
Dementia Care
We believe that dementia care should be personalised to the individual. Our focus is on helping the person live well with dementia and we encourage independence where possible. Our person centred dementia care ensures we understand the individual and provide dedicated care and support tailored to their individual needs.
Respite Care
We will offer rest and recuperation for those needing a break or even a holiday. Perhaps you need somewhere to recover following an operation or maybe your carer is having a break, whatever your requirements we are here to help and support.

Quality of life is at the heart of everything we do here at The Waterside. A choice of lounges for you to relax in, enjoy coffee and cake in our bistro lounge, have your hair done in our very own beauty salon or enjoy a delicious meal with friends in our beautiful dining room.
All of our 64 en-suite rooms are furnished to an exceptionally high standard which you can personalise with your own items from home. All thoughtfully designed for your comfort and enjoyment.

When you choose to move to The Waterside, we want you to enjoy the next chapter. A range of daily activities will be available, as well as trips out to the local area. Every day is different, and our team are committed to ensuring the health and wellbeing of the residents through meaningful and engaging activities.
Dining
We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional dining experience. Using seasonal produce with healthy and nutritious menus tailored to meet the resident’s needs, you can enjoy a wide choice of delicious home cooked meals and snacks.
Special diets can be catered for and our chef would be delighted to talk through your dietary requirements.

The home is close to all local amenities, and we are easily accessible for visitors travelling from the surrounding area. Just a 5-minute drive southbound from the East Lancs Road it’s easy to reach Liverpool to the west and the M6 to the east.
