Visiting Pods Now Open At Our Care Homes
We are thrilled to announce that visiting pods have now reopened at Hilton House, Twyford House and Regency Care Centre and Charlotte House.
We understand that seeing cherished loved ones face to face in a comfortable and safe environment is essential to the continued wellbeing of our residents, therefore we have taken all necessary steps to create Covid-secure indoor visitor pods that accommodate safe and enjoyable visits.
About Our Visiting Pods
Our visiting pods enable safe, indoor visits across our care homes in Staffordshire, Cheshire and the North West. Each pod, which has been constructed to meet the Government’s Covid-safe guidelines, offers direct access from outdoors and is completely enclosed to ensure safe indoor visiting. Clear perspex screens are also in place to create a protective barrier and reduce the risk of transmission, without getting in the way of a good old chinwag and those smiling faces!
To protect all visitors, staff and residents, each pod is thoroughly sanitised after each session as part of our robust infection control procedure. And, on the day of the visit, families and friends will receive a lateral flow test, so they can catch up with each other, safe in the knowledge that they are protected and safe.
Operations Director at Lovett Care, Debbie Baker, comments on the new additions: “It has been a joy to see residents and their loved ones get the opportunity to see and speak to one another face to face after such a difficult time. Connecting with those we hold dearest is a fundamental need for all, so we made it our mission to create a safe solution that meets this need. For families and individuals looking for care, we want to reassure you that safe visits remain our priority and we will continue to offer them as long as it is safe to do so.”
Book A Visit
To allow for thorough cleaning in-between visits, visits are limited to a certain number per day depending on which care home you are planning on visiting. Appointments can be arranged directly with the relevant care home by phone.
To book your visit, please contact Hilton House, Twyford House, Regency Care Centre, or Charlotte House directly. Our friendly team would be happy to arrange this.
Alternatively, if you are unable to make a face to face visit, but would like to see your loved ones, please do contact us. We are on hand to help with virtual visits and telephone calls and would be thrilled to support you in connecting with a cherished family member or friend in any way possible.
