Pinders Awards Finalists 2022
We are proud to announce that Twyford House, Alsager, are finalists for the Pinders awards 2022! Our beautiful new care home, which we opened back in 2020, has finally been declared finalists in the Pinders, healthcare design awards after the 2021 awards were postponed.
What Are The Pinders Awards?
The Pinders Awards are nationally recognised Healthcare Design Awards. Hosted by Pinders, the annual event offers care facilities the opportunity to get recognition for more than just the incredible care that they provide.
Pinders are renowned for building surveys, along with valuations and appraisals. This means that they have seen the best and the worst when it comes to healthcare design.
Judging focuses on separate aspects, rather than just the overall package. These aspects include:
For newly built care homes:
Best Architectural Design – the layout and aesthetics of the buildings within their setting
Best Interior Design – maximising the resident experience through colour, contrast, materials and signage
Best Exterior Design – how terraces, balconies and gardens benefit residents and their visitors
For Independent Living projects:
Best Independent Living Scheme
For both care homes and independent living projects:
Best Regeneration Project – restoring, remodelling and improving existing properties
Innovation in Design – pushing the boundaries with technology and creativity
Best Regeneration Project
The Pinders Best Regeneration Project Award is for the care homes which have taken an existing property, and not only turned it into a modern care facility but have lovingly restored, remodelled and improved the historical building.
Our Twyford House utilises the offices that once housed the Twyford board members when the once-beloved ceramics company still operated. We have used the offices as a base to create a wonderful and modern, luxury care home.
The Awards
Here at Lovett Care, we’re anxiously awaiting to hear if we have won the Best Regeneration Project!
The winner will be announced at the Pinders Awards annual event on Wednesday 16th March. A delegation from Lovett will be in attendance along with representatives from the Builder (Seddon Construction) and the architect (Condy Lofthouse).
We look forward to announcing our position after the event and hope you join us in saying a huge congratulations to the team at Twyford House, Alsager, on all the hard work they have done over the last 18 months.
If you have any questions regarding the awards or are interested in taking a tour of Twyford House, please get in touch with a member of our team today who will be happy to assist you.
