New Minibus Puts Twyford House In The Driving Seat!
We are so pleased to welcome a new addition to Twyford House Care Home this week – our brand new minibus!
Our new wheels will be vital in helping us to fulfil our mission to connect and be involved in the local communities around Alsager and Cheshire.
As you can imagine, both staff and residents are already planning future days out with a variety of activities on the table for the future, including shopping trips, fish and chips at the seaside, afternoon tea, and countryside walks.
Looking Forward To New Adventures
Our new minibus is wheelchair accessible to allow all residents to come along on days out, whether that be a trip to the beach or a short visit to the local high street. At Twyford House, our mission is to support residents to continue enjoying the things they love, and the new minibus will do just that!
Our fantastic new addition will also be shared alongside our sister care home in Staffordshire, Hilton House. Across the board, getting out and about in the fresh air is vital to health and wellbeing, not to mention the social benefits of feeling connected to local communities.
Director of Lovett Care, Carl Scarlett, commented: “The new minibus is an exciting addition to Twyford House. It gives residents the freedom to engage with the local community and also gives us the opportunity to go further afield, exploring well-loved destinations and going on new adventures.”
