Lovett Care Homes Raise Awareness of Dementia
The dedicated team at Lovett Care Homes are at the forefront of dementia care. It is important that awareness of the condition in all its forms is raised. Educating people to recognise the signs, how to communicate and assist people with dementia and for those who are related or friends with them to feel confident in offering support. There are many organisations and charities who work tirelessly to either find a cure, provide care, and are a point of reference for help and advice.
Within Hilton House, we like to play our part in raising funds for charities such as Alzheimer’s Society. Which is why we take part in the national Cupcake Day event, amongst other occasions so that residents, families, and staff can all be involved in the good work that these organisations promote. We also like to have a lot of fun in the process too!
