Lovett Care Are Finalists!
Lovett Care is proud to announce that our senior leadership team have been named finalists for The Care Employer Award at the Great British Care Awards 2022.
Upon receiving the news, Deborah Baker, Lovett’s Chief Operating Officer, had the following to say:
“We are absolutely delighted that Lovett Care Limited have been shortlisted in the Great British Care Awards for The Care Employer Award. We are so proud of all of our team for ensuring that we grow safely and securely as a business whilst always being sure that our residents are safe and at the heart of every decision that we make.”
Deborah, along with the rest of the leadership team, will be attending the East Midlands regional award night at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, on the 3rd November 2022.
The Care Employer Award
The Care Employer Award acknowledges and celebrates a care centre’s commitment to providing care and delivering excellent service to its clients.
To be eligible for the Care Award, a care home group must be able to demonstrate a long-term and sustained track record of delivering high-quality care. They must also be able to demonstrate continuous improvement in their services.
The nominated care home must be able to demonstrate exemplary professional leadership and have taken active roles in delivering best practices in leadership. These best practices include supervision, continuing professional development, and creating an environment where people feel free to learn and grow as professionals.
Finally, a finalist must demonstrate a clear commitment to maintaining their resident’s dignity and privacy throughout every part of their stay at the care home.
Being nominated in this category is a true honour. Being declared a finalist is an even bigger one. It demonstrates an incredible level of trust and confidence shown in Lovett Care by our stakeholders. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful for the support shown towards us.
About The Great British Care Awards
Founded in 2009, the Great British Care Awards are a series of celebrations, held throughout the United Kingdom. Their purpose is to recognise and celebrate excellence in the care sector.
The awards run 24 award categories, including the aforementioned Care Employer Award. Other categories include Home Care Worker Award, the Dignity in Care Award, and the Care Home Cook/Chef Award. The awards are further split eleven ways, based on region, with a national awards ceremony being held afterwards.
