What Services Do Residential Care Homes Provide?
Here at Lovett Care, we provide residential care across Staffordshire and Cheshire in our five care homes. Often, when we encounter people that are interested in our services, they are unsure as to what it may entail. For that reason, we have put together the following guide to explain exactly what you can expect from our residential care services.
What Services are Included in Residential Care?
Across our care homes in Staffordshire, Cheshire and Manchester, our team provide high quality care and accommodation. One of the first, and most important things included in this service is the high quality facilities and accomodation available. This includes everything from en-suite bedrooms and landscape gardens to beauty salons and cinema rooms. During your stay, whether that be temporary or permanent, you will have access to all of the facilities available in your home. Not only that, but you can enjoy them more than ever before, thanks to feeling safe and supported in everything that you do.
This leads quite nicely into the second part of our service, which is the 24/7 care and support available. For those over 65 that have started to struggle with day-to-day tasks, our residential care is perfect. We can help take these pressures off of their shoulders, empowering them to thrive in the activities that they really want to do.
Activities at Our Staffordshire and Cheshire Care Homes
Here at Lovett Care, we strongly believe in giving high-quality, person-centred care. In order to do this, we work with our residents and their families to create a personalised activity plan suited to their interests. We love embracing our residents’ personalities and our activities are a great way to do this.
These activities can be anything from hobbies to full day trips. Recent examples include group screenings of documentaries and films in our cinema room and even a sheep safari at a local farm. We also partner with local nurseries to provide our residents with intergenerational care. This is fantastic for both our residents and the children as they get to take part in activities, reminisce and share stories. You can find out more about this in our guide to intergenerational care and its benefits.
