Hughie Visits Anfield

Our very own Hughie got to spend the day visiting the home of his favourite team Liverpool. From touring Anfield Stadium to visiting Liverpool One and even joying a nice ice cream at Abbey Road.

Anfield Stadium

Anfield Stadium, the home of Liverpool FC has been a place close to Hughie’s heart for many years. A place he has dreamed of visiting for many years.
This year, his family have arranged a ticket for Hughie to not only visit but to take the self-guided tour. And the team here at Charlotte House couldn’t wait to accompany him and help to make this dream a reality.
He started the tour with a photo next to the immortalised Bill Frankly before heading into the stadium. Here, Hughie got to take a look around the dressing rooms, get close to the shirts of some of the clubs top players and even have a look at some of the pristine cups the club has been awarded over the years.
He also got to take a trip through the famous player’s tunnel to get a feel for how they feel as they head out onto the pitch at the start of each match.
Hughie’s trip to Anfield has made his year, and the team at Charlotte House are grateful to his family for allowing them the opportunity to share this incredible experience with him.

Liverpool One

After a great experience at Anfield, we took Hughie for a tour of some of the other great features that Liverpool has to offer. Including the Liverpool One shopping centre. Once in a while its nice to get out and about amongst the hustle and bustle and take in the stylish shop fronts, and pop into the occasional one.
We hope Hughie agrees that it’s a little too busy to do all the time. We’re quite happy with the less crowded spaces here at Charlotte House.
We must admit, the ice cream that Hughie had, looked far nicer than the ones we get back in the home. Maybe it’s time we invest in a whippy machine.
While in Liverpool, it would be rude if we didn’t get a picture of Hughie with the iconic bronze statues of The Beatles.

Here at Charlotte House, we love helping our residents get hands-on with their dreams. Every opportunity, like Hughie’s, means that we can help make our residents happy. It’s such a lovely experience to see them enjoying themselves.
If you have any questions from the team here at Charlotte House, please get in touch with our friendly team today who will be happy to assist you.
