Happy 77th Birthday Brian!
Here at Twyford House, our residents are full of joy this week as we all got together to celebrate the lovely Brian’s 77th Birthday!
Happy Birthday Brian
A chorus of happy birthday, followed by a healthy-sized slice of cake, Brian has had a great birthday celebrating with all of our residents.
This wonderful day has been filled with presents, balloons and plenty of affection! Not to mention all the party games, singing and sweet treats that have been enjoyed throughout the day.
Following his birthday treats, Brian is looking forward to helping everyone else here at Twyford House to celebrate their birthdays too! We think it might have something to do with the cake.
The Magic Table
Brain and the other residents enjoyed some time playing on our magic table. What’s that I hear you say! The magic table was developed as a form of interactive activity table, ideal for those who are living with dementia. Or anyone who wants to enjoy a spot of brain work!
Our magic table has a wide range of apps and activities for residents to get stuck into, helping to keep their brains active and give them a bit of fun in their day.
Birthdays At Twyford House
Birthdays only come around once a year, but when you get the whole of the Twyford House family together, there are a fair few birthdays to be celebrated. So we try to make each and every one of them just as special as the last.
Activities At Twyford House
Not every day is a birthday, so we have to look at other activities that don’t involve cake, I’m afraid, to keep our residents occupied. So if they aren’t in the gin lounge or craft room, they still have something to do. Ensuring we have something for everyone, we have the occasional bit of sport, you have to keep loose remember! Will a quiz or two to keep that brain smart as a whip!

Here at Twyford House, we want all our residents to feel right at home. That’s why, like Brian, we want to make sure everyone gets to celebrate their birthdays just like they would have done before they moved in, if not with even more banners!
