Cupcake Day in Aid of The Alzheimers Society

The annual Cupcake Day in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society is on 14th June 2018. Our dementia care homes in Stoke on Trent will be joining in with residents, staff and our friends and relatives all baking and buying lots of sweet treats to help others with dementia.

We understand the challenges that people with dementia and those closest to them face each day. Someone develops the condition every 3 minutes in the UK. So, when there is an opportunity to raise funds for a charity which is dedicated to finding a cure and provides invaluable help to those with dementia, we jump at the chance! It’s also a great excuse to eat lots of delicious cake!
Since 2016, Cupcake Day has raised a massive £1.4 million nationally and this year everyone at our residential dementia care homes in Stoke on Trent will be adding to that total.
